I have an enjoyable afternoon today. After my nap, I got dressed up and we went and visited Gail and Alfred for afternoon tea. I had some milk and some chocolate chip cookies. Gail and Alfred also gave me a belated Christmas present - a Paddington Bear and a Paddington Bear book! That was very nice of them! This evening was the Super bowl game on TV and I watched part of it before I had to go to bed. I also had a fun time playing on Mummy's big green exercise ball - bouncing on it and rolling back on it.

The new schnoolie rules are going well. I'm now only allowed to have it in my bed, and I'm OK with that. I ask for it occasionally, but Mummy or Daddy reminds me that it's only for bed time, and that's OK. I hope Keever is enjoying having all my other schnoolies - I now only have the one pink one.

Did you know that I am a property magnate? I'm slowly building a real estate empire and thanks to Katie and Kate last night, I've extended it further! I now have:

  • A Ryan's Room wooden doll house that the Kouris got me for my birthday last year
  • A Dora the Explorer house that Uncle Paul and Aunty Karin got me for Christmas
  • A Little People house that Kate and Katie gave me last night as a belated Christmas present

How about that! I had fun with them last night. Katie picked me up (Mummy and Daddy went to the theatre to see Wit) and we went back to her house to get Kate. We had dinner at Subway, then on to my favourite place, Starbucks! I always have fun there. And I got a Christmas present too - I love getting presents. I showed it to Daddy this morning - he was very impressed.

Yesterday at school we invited all the parents to come visit us and have snacks and drinks with us. We had ice cream, and cookies, and fruit, and chocolate cake. After our snacks we all gathered on the carpeted area and sang some songs for the grownups. That was fun.

Daddy washed my Rabbit ("Rabbie") today because he was quite dirty after spending the day with me at school on Friday (it was "show and share" at school so I brought one of my friends). However by bedtime, Rabbie was still damp, so Daddy thought it best that I not take him to bed with me - I had all my other friends after all: Baa Baa, Blankie, Bobo and Moo.

However, I woke up several times early on crying for Rabbie! So Daddy put him in the dryer with a towel and brought him up to me all dry and warm. When Daddy gave him to me, I was half asleep, but I reached out and tucked him under my arm and said "Thank you". All is well with the world now.

I called Daddy at his work yesterday and left a message. I think it's just about my very first voicemail. This is a recording of my message (MP3 file).

Mummy's been sick these past several days. She went to the doctor and it is official: she has Bronchitis. She stayed at home in bed yesterday and today. Poor Mummy.

Mummy's still sick. I hope she goes to the doctor tomorrow.

Did you know that I can now climb out of my bath all by myself? Daddy explained that I had to be very careful so as to not slip on the bathroom floor, so I'm being very careful. Daddy's very proud of me!

Mummy's still sick, but she's getting better slowly. I hope she gets better soon so we can play!

I had a fun time tonight and had a first. Dick and Amanda came over and took me out to go to the movies. I'd never been to the movies before! We saw Curious George at Brier Creek. I really enjoyed it and was attentive the entire time. Lots of other kids were mucking around and stuff, but I was just watching the movie. Dick said I was very good.

Afterwards, we went to O'Charlie's for dinner and I had macaroni & cheese and fruit and steak and ice cream for dinner! Yum. I didn't get home to the olds until after 8:30 and I was still playing! However, after Dick and Amanda went home, I changed into my PJs, had some milk (a lot actually - I was thirsty), read some books, then straight to bed - I was tired!
