My first birthday party (October 31)

I had a great party on my birthday and had about 50 people over for a Champagne Brunch. I had a fabulous afternoon with everyone. After my party, I then did trick-or-treat with my next door neighbors -- it was Halloween afterall. Check out some of the photos of the day (there were almost 300 taken!).

Click the image for a larger version [01:07PM] Do you know how old I am? Yes! I'm one. This pretty satin dress is from Aunty Dagmar. It is the first time I've worn it because up until recently it's been too big for me. Also, I needed a special occasion!

Click the image for a larger version [02:12PM] Mummy cut me a slice so I now get to eat a bit of it. Everyone around me is watching my every move and when I took a mouthful, I got a nice big chear! Some of my friends wanted me to do a face plant into the cake, but I'm too dainty for that! Check out my little birthday cake annimation too.

Click the image for a larger version [02:13PM] I like the look of this cake, especially the little coloured circles on it. My cakes were made by Edible Arts, a local cake maker who also supplies the show cakes for each of the productions at Raleigh Little Theatre.

I'm playing on the couch with Katie and Amanda, two of my very best friends (that's them in the background). In my hands is a new teddy that just arrived from Uncle Paul and Aunty Karin. They sent me some lovely flowers and this very cute bear.

Click the image for a larger version [02:22PM] I'm having lots of fun. If you look closely at the sleeves of my pretty satin dress, you'll see they have a slight pink tinge. That's because as well as some birthday cake, I also had some stawberries to eat. I love strawberries!

Gerrie is at our place receiving all the trick-or-treaters that come to our house, and the three of us are going out. I've got my pretty fairy outfit back on, complete with very pretty shoes that my Grandma bought me in Germany.
